Why did you want to work at Emerson?
I wanted to work at school where my values aligned with the mission of the school and the colleagues I work with. Emerson is a perfect fit- I love the personal approach we take to educating our students and providing them with the tools they need to be successful in life- not just how to be good scholars!

How would students describe you?
Friendly, playful, always willing to help!
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
To freeze time for everyone else while I kept going- there is never enough time for me to get my work done!!

What would surprise people about you?
A LOT 
What do you do when you’re not at Emerson?
I love to hike, garden, spend time with my husband and pets, and watch sports! Primarily women’s sports, but I do love college football (GO IRISH!) and will always root for the home teams (Lions/Tigers/Wings/Pistons)!
Who/what inspires you?
Children! to look at the world with such curiosity and innocence inspires me to take things far less seriously & to see the magic in every day. Also, my mom- she was a phenomenal educator for over 20 years- I hope to leave half the impact she made on her students one day.
