I wanted to work in a thriving school committed to creating rich learning experiences for its students.

The passion, energy, and fun nature of the teachers I work with.
How would students describe you?
Kind, caring, fun.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
Understanding/speaking all languages—I would love to be able to communicate well wherever I go and be able to learn more easily from people of all cultures and backgrounds.
What would surprise people about you?
I have a bit of an adventurous side (I’ve gone sky diving and have traveled to a few interesting places!)
What do you do when you’re not at Emerson?
I love to read, cook, hike, paint, play games, and enjoy talking with good friends and family.
Who/what inspires you?
My husband—He is the strongest person I know. He was born with Cerebral Palsy and has experienced mobility difficulties his entire life; when met with challenges, he does not back down but instead figures out a creative solution and addresses those challenges head-on.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Black raspberry chocolate chip.
