2021 (Been running after school enrichment and summer camps since 2010)
Why did you want to work at Emerson?
I have been teaching after school enrichment and summer camp programs at Emerson since 2010 or earlier and I have ALWAYS enjoyed working with Emerson students. The entire education community at Emerson is top notch and I believe in the quality and educational philosophy that Emerson upholds. Emerson has always been the only school that I would consider working for if I had the opportunity.
What wows you about Emerson?
The organization and structure of their educational programs. Emerson delivers a quality educational experience that values the individual learner. Teaching to the individual is something that I believe in and is how I structure my classes, Emerson values this same structure. The community is friendly, welcoming and adaptable; I am very much looking forward to working alongside and with the Emerson community.

Adaptable

Passionate and enthusiastic about learning everything!
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
I would want to be able to fly because I think it would be amazing to be able to be in the clouds and view things from up above. That being said, there are so many others that are a close second….healing powers, invisible powers, babble fish powers (be able to understand all languages)….
Favorite artist or band?
Rene Magritte and M.C. Escher
What would surprise people about you?
That I am secretly incredibly shy and reserved.
What do you do when you’re not at Emerson?
Spend time with my family, specifically my daughter who keeps this older Mom on her toes. We love to travel, read, draw, paint, do science experiments and explore anything and everything that is fun!
Who/what inspires you?
Children inspire me every day. Their adaptability and spark for learning keeps my spark burning.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Mint Chocolate Chip with Vanilla Bean a close second.
