Why do you serve on the Board of Trustees?
My involvement in volunteering at Emerson is driven by a deep commitment to our community and its goals. The school’s mission is what attracted our family to Emerson and I want help ensure that we continue to achieve it going foward by strengthening all the resources needed.

What wows you about Emerson School?
The dedication of the teachers and staff as well as the enthesiam of the students. Emerson is truly a special place in our community.

If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
Time travel! So many people I would love the opporunity to speak to and learn from if I had the chance.

What did/do you want to be when you grew up?
An astronaut

What would surprise people about you?
I’m a two-time marathoner and a fourteen-time half marathoner; however definately not the typical build of a runner!

What do you do when you’re not working or at a BOT meeting?
I love camping with the family at national and state parks all across the country.

Who/what inspires you?
My family’s history. Many of my ancestors overcame incredible odds and its what keeps me motivated.
