Why did you want to work at Emerson?
My daughter attended Summer Camp at Emerson and absolutely loved it! I have a special place in my heart for Emerson.

What wows you about Emerson?
The students! They are amazing in so many ways.

In one word, what is your working style?
Collaborative

How would students describe you?
Friendly

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
To heal the sick; no one should have to suffer.

Favorite artist or band?
Many, depending on the mood: Fleetwood Mac, Sting, Elton John, Tony Bennett, Vivaldi Four Seasons, Burt Bacharach songs, and all of the 70’s one-hit-wonder bands!

What would surprise people about you?
I was quite the barebow archer back in the day; I even qualified for the Junior Olympics.

What do you do when you’re not at Emerson?
Gardening, thrifting, crafting, and hanging out with my family.

Who/what inspires you?
Learning inspires me! Each time I learn something new, I get inspired to learn more.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Moose Tracks

Favorite quote, or anything else you would like Emerson families to know about you?
The Chinese proverb – something to the effect of: Tell me and I will forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I will understand.
