The positive energy that flows among the staff on into the students. It is truly a place that people seem happy!
In one word, what is your working style?
Crunchy
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
The ability to turn into any animal… we’re talking superhuman strength (ants), flight (birds), and virtual invisibility (chameleons) all rolled into one.
What would surprise people about you?
My first post-university job was as a semi-professional musician. Also, I was born in another galaxy (okay, that’s not true, but I think it would surprise people).
What do you do when you’re not at Emerson?
I love to spend time outdoors with my family hiking, biking, camping, gardening,and (recently) fly fishing. I’m an avid player of all sorts of games, and love a good movie.
Who/what inspires you?
I am inspired by the rich natural world, and inspired to have the greatest positive impact on the Earth possible… I seek to do that through both my own actions, but more importantly to trying to inspire the next generation of “environmentalists”
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
YES. I’m pretty much an equal opportunity ice cream eater… lately, I’d probably choose rocky road.
